    The El Camino Youth Symphony proudly presents guest artist Martin Chalifour on violin in a benefit concert for ECYS. Martin Chalifour is the Principal Concertmaster of the Los Angeles Philharmonic, and appears frequently as a soloist and in recital. Born in Montreal, Canada, Chalifour graduated at the age of 18 with a unanimous First Prize from the Montreal Conservatory, and is a graduate of the Curtis Institute of Music. The Senior Symphony Orchestra joins Martin Chalifour performing the following Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 6 ,  Mozart's Overture from Don Giovanni  and Barber's Violin Concerto.
