    Lucia Misch started writing and performing poetry three years ago here in San Jose. She was a member of MACLA's Teen Slam Poetry League 2006, 2007 and was the 2007 Champion. Lucia graduated from Notre Dame high school in June and is looking forward to exploring the world as a nomad/poet during the year she is taking off before college.
