World War II veteran Charles N. "Norm" Stevens has written "An Innocent At Polebrook: A Memoir of an Eigth Air Force Bombardier," about his experiences as part of the 351st Bomb Group based in Polebrook, England. Stevens, now 83, describes what it feels like as a 19-year old from California to find himself in the Plexiglass nose of a B-17 flying 34 bombing raids over Germany and occupied countries. Lecture included with museum admission. "An Innocent At Polebrook" will be available in the Museum Gift Shop. Booksigning will follow lecture.
