Come to the whacky world of Angie Young Studios featured at Lojart Gallery. It’s time for artist Angie Young to unveil her latest works depicting life in absurd colors and zany scenarios. Morgan Hill is no stranger to Young’s energetic paintings and displays her prize-winning piece of the dairy cow recycling cans and bottles in downtown. Largely self-taught, Young began her art business customizing t-shirts with a humorous cartoon theme for individuals and organizations for almost a decade. Her designs were popular with all ages, in many cases her unique t-shirts sold out at conventions and people wanted more. She also carved and painted gourds with her typical bright palette for those who liked art deco. Then Young shifted gears from t-shirts to fine art paintings, developing her craft for another seven years. Young is an award-winning artist; her works appeared in regional publications. Private collectors and public organizations own her artwork in the US and abroad.
