American Ice Theatre presents Sunset Tango and Latin Dance Explosion. Sunset Tango  is a series of Tango pieces weaved together in a story-line exploring the trysts and turns of relationships. Latin Dance Explosion is a  musical celebration of Latin rhythms from Regge-tone to Rumba. The piece presents a dynamic mix of solos, duets, and ensemble pieces. Dancers “salsa” on stage while skaters sizzle on ice. Special guest stars include: 1999 National Champion and World Competitor Rudy Galindo, Olympic and World Champions Marina Klimova & Sergei Ponomarenko as well as 2008 National Competitors Amanda Dobbs,  Dennis Phan as well as the Golden State Synchronized Skating Team. This performance combines music, dance, and figure skating in a full-length show including special non-skating guests: singer sensation Manuel Romero and salsa dance champions Enrique Jarquin and Lucy Yoo.
