Join Heart of Chaos for Miguel Machuca's powerful exhibit from his first painting, The Slave, which depicts the abandonment, betrayal and sacrifice of the familiar self to his current art which includes his movement from despair and dark emotions ,exquisitely captured in paint to empowerment in abstract art and a gradual merging of representational and abstract elements.
Initiation is a passage from one identity to the next.

    This is the 2nd year for the chalk art festival. I went last year and it was GREAT! Lots of colorful art everywhere. Kids having fun. Great event you don't want to miss and it's FREE!

    I went to school with this artist. And I've worked with the folks at this community center. It is a great place to see an art show and the art will be colorful and professional.
