Jigu’s 28 talented drummers, percussionists, and musicians, embody the magical heritage of the Yellow River in the heart of the Shanxi Province, birthplace of the drum and gong. Each performer comes from a different village and the company’s performances are deeply rooted in the province’s folk origins.
