Join Bruce and James for a great afternoon, including delectable, healthy and organic appetizers from recipes in their book, The Hippy Gourmet’s Quick and Simple Cookbook for Healthy Eating, as well as a demonstration of a solar oven. Chef extraordinaire, Bruce Brennan trained under some of the industry's finest French chefs. At 16 years old Bruce was cooking for executives at IBM's Long Island Management Training Center. Bruce went on to cook at several restaurants both in New York and Los Angeles, and was invited to cater on Hollywood sets and backstage events. Bruce and his sister then renovated an old Victorian in the heart of San Francisco’s Haight-Ashbury, creating a successful bed and breakfast. This truly was the inspiration behind The Hippy Gourmet show, with Bruce’s knowledge of world recipes, natural ingredients and his warm hospitality!

James Ehrlich has spent years working in film and television. Before co-creating the Hippy Gourmet show, he founded his own successful media and technology company. He was also acting president of GMI Entertainment, a global media and publishing concern, where he executive produced all of their film, television and electronic media. James has produced television segments for major networks and has also dedicated a great deal of his creative energy towards documentaries that are especially focused on wildlife and endangered habitats.
