"A richly funny, warm and thought-provoking theatre experience." Antelope Valley Press

A one-woman show of extraordinary wit, insight, and power. A hilarious and touching portrait of this Einstein loyalist, and a humanizing look into the great thinker's life. A talented actress and writer, Mersky has conducted meticulous research to create a subtle, witty and extremely accurate depiction of Einstein, the man, as seen through the eyes of Einstein's devoted secretary Ellen.

In 1934, Albert Einstein, having fled Nazi Germany with his family and secretary, Ellen, is living in Princeton, New Jersey. Reporters have gathered in his living room to interview him on his birthday, but he is late, leaving his secretary to stall the reporters, field their questions, and keep the chaotic household running smoothly. In this touching and hilarious portrait of Einstein's loyal assistant, Ms. Mersky offers us a humanizing look into the great thinker's life as seen through the people around him.

Kres Mersky is a versatile actress and playwright whose works have been produced in New York and Los Angeles. A veteran of the stage, she has also appeared in numerous films and television shows. She was nominated by the Mark Taper Forum for the Susan Smith Blackburn Prize in playwriting.

Excellent show! I saw it last Friday and never thought I would see this one outside & done so well. From the moment you hear the opening helicopter fly over head to last note of the score, this show is rivoting. It is easy to why the engineer has been touring with show in the past; his timing, movement and character was captivating. The leads were wonderfully played and other standouts include the characters of Chris, Kim, and John, all explored the emotional scale from sentiment to comedy, and you could be laughing or crying depending on the moment of the show. YES - there is a helicopter and it a rather awesome effect. The ensemble sounds great, and has some wonderful movement, but for a moment of constructive criticism "The Morning of the Dragon" could have been clearer. It is the only place where some of the vocals are not heard. This is why they get 4 stars and not 5, but definitely a must see !! Collapse

Saw this show in New York - Do not expect a Broadway extravaganza - just some good laughs at some of the most famous shows there...
