Jeff Owen sculpture display at Menlo Park Annual Pacific Fine Arts Festival

Jeff Owen, nationally recognized local bay area sculptor, will be displaying and selling his abstract steel metal sculptures and his collaborative steel-glass sculptures with glass artist Demian of Demian Glass, at the Menlo Park 26th Annual Pacific Fine Arts Festival from Friday 4/18/08 to Sunday 4/20/08. The festival is open from 10am to 6pm on Friday and Saturday and 10am to 5pm on Sunday.

Jeff Owen's sculptures have won awards at the 2007 Carmel Art Festival Sculpture in the Park, 2007 City of Santa Clara Indoor Sculpture Exhibition, 39th Palm Springs Museum Art Exhibition, and the Los Gatos Art Association Open and Member Juried Shows. His sculptures are displayed in indoor and outdoor corporate and individual collections nationwide and internationally. Jeff Owen is known for his unique abstract steel sculptures using found metal. Jeff Owen views life in patterns and he incorporates these patterns into all of his sculptures. He describes when his creative force is flowing, he works on a sculpture until it is completed. It is finished when the when the creative flow ends. His aspiration is to create sculptures that are different and unique, that no one has done before. Jeff Owen has recently collaborated with glass artist Marc Demian. Marc Demian has been inspired by the ancient fusion glass making process and creates unique, functional pieces vibrant in color. Marc Demian’s fused glass art can be seen at local fine art festivals, the Smithsonian museum shop, and fine art collections nationwide. The Menlo Park Fine Art Festival is held on Santa Cruz Avenue, just west of El Camino Real in Downtown Menlo Park. There is ample parking behind the stores on both the north and south sides of Santa Cruz Avenue. Admission is free (cited from the Pacific Fine Arts website).
