Meet Stanford Professor of Education Bill Damon, when he discusses Path to Purpose: Helping our Children Find their True Calling in Life Drawing. Based on the revelatory results of a landmark study, William Damon, one of the country's leading writers on the lives of young people, whose book Greater Expectations won the Parents' Choice Award -- brilliantly investigates the most pressing issue in the lives of youth today: why so many young people are "failing to launch" -- living at home longer, lacking career motivation, struggling to make a timely transition into adulthood, and not yet finding a life pursuit that inspires them.

William Damon, Ph.D is Professor of Education and Director of the Center on Adolescence at Stanford University . He is also Senior Fellow at the Hoover Institution on War, Revolution and Peace. Prior to coming to Stanford, Damon was University Professor and Director of the Center for the Study of Human Development at Brown University . He received his bachelor's degree from Harvard and his doctorate in developmental psychology from the University of California at Berkeley.
