    The Kids Art on Main Street exhibition, sponsored by the Los Altos Cultural Association and CSMA, will showcase the creative talents of 40 young artists (grades K-6). Art on display comes from CSMA’s Arts in Action program at Montclaire, Santa Rita, Springer, and St. Nicholas schools. The work was created during the 2007-08 school year in weekly AIA classes taught by CSMA faculty members Edie Bella (Springer School), Celeyce Matthews (Montclaire and St. Nicholas Schools), and Pamela Ritchey (Santa Rita School).

    The exhibition includes a mix of subjects and media, including collages, watercolor and tempera paintings, pen and ink drawings and more. Having the opportunity for the children to share their work in a public venue is a wonderful experience for them and a chance for the community to enjoy the creativity of these young artists.
