    Dramatic coloratura Elizabeth Medeiros Hogue returns to her hometown of San Jose to join the Mission Chamber Orchestra in the beautiful setting of Five Wounds Church. Passionate arias and Portuguese songs will be performed along with little-known gems from the Iberian Peninsula. It's like spending a day in Portugal!

    This program will include , Freitas Branco's Suite Alentejana no. 2, Bomtempo's Symphony no. 1, Verdi's Ah fors e lui from La Traviata, Verdi Merce's dilette amiche from I Vespri Siciliani plus traditional Portuguese songs.
