    There’s something about a box. Maybe it’s the mystery. What’s inside? Maybe it’s the anticipation of discovering what’s inside the box, or what one could put inside the box. A box can be for a present. Or a box can be used to store something really special. Certainly a cat knows the value of a box.

    With all this in mind, a boxful of artists at The Main Gallery have collaborated to present a show titled “Barely Contained: The Box Show.” The works will be uncrated and on display from May 28 to June 29 with a reception for the boxers on Sunday, June 1 from 4 to 7 p.m.
