    Explore the world of orchids and orchid growing in this two-hour talk and hands-on demonstration with Steve Klitzing. You will learn about the different types of orchids, orchid growing habits, watering and feeding methods, orchid repotting, orchid hygiene, pest and disease control, and other important information. Learn simple beginner’s techniques for becoming a successful orchid grower. Learn to grow and bloom the easy orchids like cymbidiums, ladyslippers, and phalaenopsis. There will be a Q&A session at the end. Mr. Klitzing has taught for five colleges and Universities including U. C. Berkeley. He has grown orchids for nearly 30 years.
