Will Prince Harry succeed in rescuing Rapunzel? Will Rapunzel be reunited with her family? Will somebody get a really bad haircut? Loads of laughs await the audience in this hilarious, irreverent, and satirical “fractured fairy tale.” Rounding out the evening is City Lights first-ever Holiday Musical Revue, filled with songs to warm the heart and tickle the funny-bone.

If you like the classic holiday songs (e.g. Carol of the Bells, Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, What Are You Doing New Year's Eve?), then this show is for you. If your holiday season in incomplete without Dickensian carolers , this show is for you. Walk, don't run to see Rapunzel/Holiday Musical Revue. The cast is topnotch, featuring some outstanding voices capable of mastering both classical and contemporary songs. I laughed, I cried, I celebrated the yuletide... Collapse

This first part of this show is indeed silly and the puns almost whiz past you it's so fast, but the second part of this production was really surprising. I don't consider myself at all to be the "musical revue" target audience but the harmonies and humor in the variety show were excellent. No mics, one piano and a fun variety of funny and touching songs makes this evening of under 2 hours with intermission a nice time. Some really excellent voices here once you get past a bit of the corny and the cheesy. I found myself plesantly relaxed afterward and definately in the holiday spirit. Collapse

I found this play fast paced and full of wit. I laughed so hard, tears rolled down my face. Well written and excellently preformed! I was blown away by the talent on the stage.

I wasn't quite sure what to expect when I went to see this show. I was very pleased as to what I saw. I noticed when I left the small quaint theatre everyone had a smile on their face. I agree with the review before me. Goldie Locks (Danielle Medeiros) was hilarious with a strong voice. Actually all the singing was quite good. This is my second show (JCS was my first and that was AMAZING) but this on an entirely different note was a good way to end a great evening. Collapse

If you want to go see a enjoyable show with the family or a night out this is the show to go too. The singing was outstanding especially by Prince Harry and Goldie Locks and the holiday revue was a great finish to a delightful show. Great job to the director Amanda who picked a wonderful handful of actors. I will go see this again and bring the entire family next time. Collapse

Noted voices of Sarah Griner as Rapunzel and Samantha Bartholomew. (Saw Griner at Palo Alto Players several months ago I believe) Also recognize Benjamin Barker the Barber (Jake Van Tuyl), though can't remember what from. Either way, you'll remember THIS show after watching it. Won't change your life or the way you look at theatre, but if you want a fun night and a few laughs with some nice singing, come down and see City Lights. Collapse
