Show Boat (1936)

Magnolia Hawks (Irene Dunne) is an eighteen-year-old on her family's show boat, the Cotton Palace which travels the Mississippi River putting on shows. She meets Gaylord Ravenal (Allan Jones), a charming gambler. They fall in love and life is the never the same for them.

San Francisco (1936)

A Barbary Coast saloonkeeper and a Nob Hill impresario are rivals for the affections of a beautiful singer, both personally and professionally in 1906 San Francisco. Starring Clark Gable and Jeannette MacDonald.
