    Coletta will discuss how local leaders, citizens, and activists can capitalize on a number of positive trends shaping cities today. In particular, Coletta will explore the importance of developing Next Generation Cities that respond to the new realities of a knowledge economy. Coletta will specifically address how cities that want to thrive in this economy need to excel in the following areas: developing and retaining talent, fostering innovation and leadership, linking people with ideas to talent, and capitalizing on local differences to build economic opportunities.
