Add Review/CommentWith the challenges of today’s climate changing sprawl, the concept of sustainable urbanism is gaining wide international acceptance. Defined as walkable, transit-served urbanism with high performance buildings and infrastructure, this new reform is the subject of a national campaign in the U.S. to become the dominant pattern of development by 2030. Drawing upon case studies from around the country, Farr will explain how the integration of sustainable urbanist patterns can be used to design better neighborhoods and corridors. Part of the Great Cities Speaker Series presented by 1st Act Silicon Valley, ZERO1, San Jose State University, The Fairmont San Jose, APACA, AIA Santa Clara Valley, San Jose Rep, and CreaTV San Jose
