A month of activities celebrating the "Five-Year Milestone of a Successful Collaboration" at the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Library kicks off at this special event featuring exhibits and multicultural activities for all ages, both in the library, Caret Plaza and various locations, launching a month of celebration.

Here is the schedule for the day:
11am - Formal event Kickoff
12pm- Sandoshin Taiko
12pm- Beethoven Center "The World of Beethoven's Pianos"
12pm-3pm- Teen Gaming Tournament
12pm-4pm- SJSU Special Collections and California Room Open House
1pm- Vo Vinam Martial Arts and Lion Dance Performance
1pm-2pm- Steinbeck Center Open House
1:30pm-2pm- Special Children's Story Time
2pm- Las Cruces Baile Folklorico

Other activities throughout the day include Art Activities for Children, Juggler Michael Pearce will be performing between performances near Caret Plaza, Friends of the Library Book Sale, SJSU/SJPL Library History Exhibit, Teen Photo Project Display.
