The Annual Spring in Guadalupe Gardens event celebrates gardening and the environment. It's a celebration of the out-of-doors, with activities showcasing gardening and protecting the environment. The 15th annual Spring in Guadalupe Gardens event will take place at the Visitor & Education Center as well as in the park’s Heritage Rose Garden, at the peak of its bloom with spectacular color and fragrance, historic orchard, green meadows and paved trails between Coleman and Taylor streets. Entertainment and hands-on activities for all ages will be featured throughout the day including sales of unusual plants, workshops and lectures, fun kids activities, solar power exhibits, music and health resources. Gardeners will have a field day with specialty nurseries and garden clubs and the opportunity to get free expert gardening advice. There will be garden tours and trail walks, and other activities to encourage families to explore more of Guadalupe River Park & Gardens.
