Add Review/CommentAt his Rancho San Pedro, Don Francisco Sanchez raised cattle for the hide and tallow trade. In 1842, he started building an adobe home for his family. On September 20, discover what their life was like during the annual Rancho Day Fiesta at the Sanchez Adobe.
A living history event, visitors will be invited to make adobe bricks, stamp leather, dip candles, weave wheat, churn butter, spin wool and make tortillas during this fun-filled day. The Alta California Dancers will demonstrate dance steps of the mid-nineteenth century.
