    Three colorful canvas panels showcase winning art and essay entries, with 1st place, 2nd place and 3rd place winners displayed, along with honorable mentions. All entries were submitted by Asian-American students from the San Francisco Bay area, with many winners coming from San José and Santa Clara County. The Asian Pacific Fund selects a new theme for the “Growing Up Asian in America” contest every year, and with the Beijing Summer Olympics coming up, we asked students to share their ideas on winning and losing.
