    The Redwood Symphony opens its 2008-2009 season with a diverse and engaging program entitled Atmospheres. Explore different sonic atmospheres, from the virtuosic fireworks of Prokofiev's best-loved piano concerto to the cool audacity of Ligeti. This evening's program will include, Beethoven's Fidelio Overture, Prokofiev's Piano Concerto No. 3 with Chloe Pang on piano, Ligeti's Atmosphères and Ravels La Valse.
