    Orquesta Pacheco plays an eclectic selection of Latin dance grooves sure to please the most exacting dancers. For over ten years group has performed around the San Francisco Bay Area, consistently delivering rousing performances at every show. Orquesta Pacheco is pleased to be returning to the Little Fox, from where the group started drawing salsa dancers in 2004. Orquesta Pacheco has something for everybody. If you love to Latin dance, Orquesta Pacheco is sure to please.

    A native of San Francisco, California, Gary Flores started playing the Trumpet in 1972 at the age of 19 and then joined a neighborhood Latin Rock band called Café. In 1976, he started a band called Salsa Caliente which performed together for about twenty years, and was considered the best Salsa Group in the Bay Area. Many great musicians performed with Salsa Caliente including Richard Kermode (Janis Joplin, Malo, Santana), and Luis Gasca (Santana, Malo, Maynard Ferguson, Mongo Santamaria Woody Herman) among others. After Salsa Caliente, Flores started a Latin jazz group called "Caliente 2000" where he enjoyed the freedom, individuality and creativity of improvising with this group.
