    Launching a new tradition of offering outstanding piano concerts at a new venue as part of its annual piano series, Steinway Society the Bay Area is proud to present 2008 Grammy winner Garrick Ohlsson. As the first American to win the Chopin International Piano Competition, Ohlsson is known as a “musician of magisterial interpretive and technical prowess” and, as a resident of San Francisco, his concerts are a sought-after favorite of local classical music lovers. Ohlsson’s program will include works by Beethoven and “mystical composer” Alexander Scriabin, promising a dazzling evening of brilliant music.
