Tonight's films may have influenced the making of an Oakland movie by the Mandarin Film Company (See the September 14 program). The following short films will be shown: The Noise of Bombs (Keystone, 1914) with Edgar Kennedy; Fatty and Mabel Viewing the World’s Fair at San Francisco (Keystone, 1915) with Roscoe “Fatty” Arbuckleand Mabel Normand; A Night Out (Essanay, 1915), made in Oakland and Niles with Charlie Chaplin and Edna Purviance; Mabel’s Willful Way (Keystone, 1915, 35mm print from UCLA), made in Oakland with Roscoe “Fatty” Arbuckle and Mabel Normand; Wished on Mabel (Keystone, 1915), made in Golden Gate Park with Roscoe “Fatty” Arbuckle and Mabel Normand; The Tramp (Essanay, 1915), made in Niles with Charlie Chaplin and Edna Purviance.
Bruce Loeb is featured on the piano. Snacks are available for purchase.
