    Niles Essanay Silent Film Museum presents Going Straight (Fine Arts, 1916), directed by Chester and Sidney Franklin, starring Norma Talmadge, Ralph Lewis, and Eugene Pallette. Norma and Ralph play a respectable married couple whose criminal past comes back to haunt them. It’s a taunt, dramatic thriller with fine performances by the players. The following short will also be shown: Fatty and Mabel Adrift (Keystone, 1916, 35mm print, 3 reels) with Roscoe “Fatty” Arbuckle and Mabel Normand This is the complete film, rarely seen.
