    In 1819, Portuguese composer and Beethoven contemporary João Domingos Bomtempo wrote a beautiful Requiem dedicated to the memory of Portugal’s greatest poet, Luís Vaz de Camões. MCO and Gloria Dei Concert Choir present this choral gem in a celebration of Portuguese culture at the beautiful Five Wounds Church.
