Although I can't complain about this production, I didn't jump out of my seat either. If you've seen this show before (as I just did at Broadway West) the suspense is somewhat diluted and my expectations were higher I think from the technical end. As I said, fair production, no real complaints, it just didn't enchant me. Still I think if you've not seen it, it's solid, and though I wanted a bit more spook from the tech end, the performances were great and though 90 minutes with no intermission is philisophically a challenge, it didn't drag on. Loved it. Can't believe the male actor plays so many roles at once, and he does a fantastic job at all of them, while transitioning from one role to the next graciously. The actress does a fantastic job as well. The script is very intricate, rich, and unusual, and she kills it with her delivery. First time attending a "spooky" play, and now i am hooked. Collapse

Pleasantly surprised at this show. the 5 young men are very talented. The San Jose Stage Theater is small and intimate. I thought that the four piece band would not be adequate but they were and they interact a little bit with the actors which was different and refreshing. I guess the two things I can say is: 1) one scene made me laugh so hard I had to dab at my eyes and that has never happened before and; 2) I went and bought the sound track CD the next day. The one that caught my eye in all the reviews and advertisements was "God called me on my cell phone." But there are other outstanding songs.. songs that you could actually sing to. Perfect entertainment especially for the price. Went on Sunday. Got discounted tickets and parking on the streets of San Jose is easy and free (on Sundays). What more could you ask for? Collapse

Outstanding Story, Singing, Dancing and Very funny!!! Only one warning: Females-If you sit in the first row you could find yourself on center stage and part of the show.

I was so impressed with this show. The Cast is perfect, the music so fun. I was really moved by the message of the show. These boys work so hard and give it all they have. What talent!!!

Hysterical. I had a smile on my face the whole time. My 15 year old daughter loved it. Great harmonies.

Whatever walk of life you come from you will be able to relate to at least part of this show. It's mix of Forever Plaid and The Village People with a dash of Late Night Cathecism. There are funny moments (many of them), sad moments, songs that make you want to get up and dance and yes, some of you may even have a religious experience. I was surprisingly moved to tears a couple of times. Everything works in this show. The sound, the band, the multimedia, the choreography, the singing, it's all spot on. There were a couple of points where actors didn't hit their lighting mark but not many will notice. Get your tickets, bring your friends (they'll like you even more), organize a church group everyone will LOVE this show. Run, don't walk to this show. Collapse
