For more than 20 years, this all-female ensemble has used dance to tell the stories of disenfranchised people. Their bold and intricate weaving of dance, music and text, combined with the history, culture and traditions of African Americans, explores struggle, suffering, survival and social change. A Stanford Lively Arts Informance; presenting partner Borel Private Bank and Trust Company. Part of the 2008-2009 Arts & Entertainment Series in Tateuchi Hall, sponsored by Applied Materials.
