    Special cultural event in conjunction with Mountain View Reads Together. Set in Taliban-controlled Kabul, a girl disguises herself as a boy to leave home and support her family. Young Osama is soon discovered and must pay the consequences. This 2004 Golden Globe winner imparts a powerful message about the harsh reality of women's lives in Afghanistan. Post-screening discussion by Talk Cinema. In Pashtu, with English subtitles. PG-13. An educational program in conjunction with the reading of Three Cups of Tea.
