The Peninsula Symphony celebrate three spectacular soloists, who happen to live right in their backyard, in a vivid display of solo-orchestra fireworks! The program for this concert includes: Edward Elgar: Cockaigne, Op. 40 ("In London Town"), Ralph Vaughan Williams: Tuba Concerto in F Minor (with Zachariah Spellman, tuba), Antonio Vivaldi: Bassoon Concerto in E Minor, RV 484 (with Rufus Olivier, bassoon), Carl Maria von Weber: Andante and Hungarian Rondo, Op. 35 (with Rufus Olivier, bassoon), Dmitri Shostakovich: Piano Concerto No. 2 in F Major, Op. 102 (with Heidi Hau, piano), Nicolai Rimsky-Korsakov: Capriccio Espagnol, Op. 34.
