Firebird Dance Theatre proudly introduces a beautiful new dance show dedicated to all that is best in life: family, tradition, change, warmth, love, and joy. Inspired by the stories of Shalom Aleichem, Simcha is a touching celebration of the spirit, history, and culture of Judaism.

Well, most dance does not have dialog, that would be generally called a musical or lyric (light) opera of which there are several good local companies (like PYT, CMT and SJ Lyric Theatre). Actually,... Expand

Sorry, didn't want to bash, but have to side with Jason. Also, my kids were disappointed about this being just a dance show, we though there will be some dialogues/singing.

Typical russian dance school recital wanting to be a show. Cute kids though. All the positive reviews are probably written by the lil' dancers' parents.

I loved it! The show is very touching and emotional. Costumes and Sets were superb. Unexpectedly and as a bonus we started feeling the Holidays thanks to the snow theme in the second part. I think... Expand
