    Join PACO for the first concert of the season in a program of powerful and beautiful music from the other side of the world: 19th century imperial Russia and the 20th century's Soviet Union. Two romantic masterpieces by the ever-popular Tchaikovsky, a set of brilliant orchestra variations by his admirer Arensky, and Shotakovitch's dramatic Cello Concerto No.1, performed by our own principal cellist, Aki Toyoshima.
