    Debut Ensemble consists of young musicians already experienced in ensemble playing who are improving their technique and musicianship. Debut members attend the Chamber Music Workshop in August, where they are given intensive ensemble training which carries over into the season. Three annual concerts feature music for chamber orchestra as well as string quartet and other small ensembles. Debut Ensemble concerts feature outstanding local soloists and also provide solo opportunities for members of all PACO ensembles.

    Benjamin Simon conducts the Debut Ensemble. The program for this free performance includes: Peter Warlock - Capriol Suite for String Orchestra, Grazyna Bacewicz - Quartetto per 4 violini, Felix Mendelssohn - String Quartet in F minor, Op. 80, Ludwig van Beethoven - String Quartet in C minor, Op. 18 No. 4, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart - Divertimento for Strings No. 3 in F Major, K. 138, Béla Bartók - Roumanian Folk Dances.
