    Lutenist Doris Williams specializes in Celtic and traditional as well as Renaissance music. Doris also sings folk and original compositions. She performs on tin whistle and recorder, and accompanies herself on an 8-course lute. Doris enjoys the musical scene of the Bay Area, singing with professional choirs, teaching private piano and voice, and performing as a soloist in churches and other venues. She is active singing Celtic, Renaissance and Jazz music with her friends at various local venues. Doris holds an AB in Early Music from Oakland College in Michigan, as well as an AM from Stanford in the same discipline. Join Allied Arts and listen to this talented artist.
