Add Review/CommentLucille Houston was a Pulitzer-nominated photographer and photojournalist for the San Jose Mercury News whose vibrant life was cut short in 2001 as a result of domestic abuse. Her husband is currently serving 40 years to life for her murder. Luci's art embodies the beautiful in life; family, relationships, love; in stark contract to the ugliness of her death. This memorial exhibition honors her life and art, and also raises awareness of domestic violence within our society. Co-sponsored by the City of Morgan Hill, Community Solutions, the San Jose Mercury News, Nuevo Mundo and the Santa Cruz Women's Commission.
