Hands-On-History Program - Soap Root Brushes

Add Review/CommentLocal anthropologist Shirley Reusch Drye has been researching and instructing on Native Californian of the San Francisco Bay Area for many years. Drye will introduce the history and craft of making soap root brushes, a tool used by the Ohlone people in their acorn flour preparation. Participants will have the opportunity to make their own soap root brushes.
