Review/Comment
Richard Lamparsky, divorced, unsuccessful and 40, wins life's lottery when a wealthy woman suddenly needs a stand-in groom. But the rich are not like you and me. Can he hold onto his good fortune? A mordant comedy by Lia Romeo, directed by Aldo Billingslea, from the heart of our materialistic society.

"I was in the Right Place and the Right Time"

I found the play outrageous and funny at the same time. I laughed, I enjoyed. The actors were laudatory. This is certainly a credit to the RTE. Go see it!!!

This is one of the funniest plays I've seen in a long time! We were on vacation in SJ and stumbled onto the Renegade Experimental Theater doing a premier of a young playwright from the east coast, Lia Romeo. The dialogue is smart and quick, and the story quite unexpected. Total enjoyment, and a great evening's entertainment. We highly recommend it. Collapse

An interesting look at love, romance, marriage, and what it really takes to be happy. This modern farce had a healthy portion of melodrama, over the top affected and stereotypical performances, but for the most part they worked well with the quick wit and pace of the script. Excellent technical elements including fantastic costuming, props, and set, really showed off the actors who in turn showed off the writing. A nice collaborative ensemble effort worthy of Renegade's high standard for presenting an "alternative voice". Plenty of smirks and chuckles throughout. Collapse

I greatly enjoyed RTE's production of Right Place, Right Time. The show is wonderfully written and the quirky characters are played perfectly by the talented cast. We were treated to a non-stop stream of fast and funny dialog and an ending that will keep you thinking about the show for quite a while. Highly resommended! Collapse
