    Ron Burgess originally worked in the area of etchings and pen & ink drawings at shows focusing in those mediums at Blaine Wilson gallery (Fresno) and Lindsay Gallery of Fine Arts (San Francisco). In the last several years Ron decided to move to painting wanting to work with larger spaces and to be able to involve outside materials for texture. He also wanted to take some of the knowledge from intaglio and use some of those techniques in the use of brilliant colors and movement of the paint.

    Ron has pieces of his work displayed in homes in Chicago, Los Angeles, Guerneville, Walnut Creek and San Francisco. Come visit the Caldwell Gallery to see his latest work in his show Explorations.
