    For adults who love to garden, the Friends of Guadalupe River Parks and Gardens and Children’s Discovery Museum, with support from UCCE Santa Clara County Master Gardeners, will host Amy Stewart as she introduces her latest book, Wicked Plants, A Book of Botanical Atrocities. Discover more about the secrets of worms, plants, and flowers from this witty, off-beat award-winning author (The Earth Moved: On the Remarkable Achievements of Earthworms and the “New York Times” bestseller, Flower Confidential). Books will be available for purchase and signing.

      Parking is available in the city-owned lots on Woz Way and around the Museum. The parking lots that surround the Museum charge variable rates based on events scheduled in the downtown area, and CDM has no control over the daily rate. Handicapped parking is available in the Museum's loading zone, adjacent to Woz Way. County transit bus lines and Light Rail trains stop near the Museum.
