    The market is held from May through December along a charming block of San Pedro Street between Santa Clara and St. John streets. It is definitely the best place to see and be seen each week. Browse through colorful flowers, gourmet foods and fresh fruits and vegetables from California-certified growers. Special fruit tastings and live music are offered throughout the season. Enter a drawing to win prizes such as tickets to the Tech Museum, San Jose Earthquakes, the Improv - and maybe even the San Jose Sharks playoffs or for gift certificates to a local restaurant. The Farmers' Market also features the "Merchant at the Market" where patrons can learn more about a Downtown business, and the "Chef at the Market" who prepares something wonderful for everyone to sample. The market is produced in conjunction with Pacific Coast Farmers' Market Association.
