Celebrate an Old-Fashioned Fourth of July

    San Mateo County History Museum

    July 4, 2009

    Add Review/Comment

The San Mateo County History Museum will join the Peninsula Celebrations Association's Fourth of July parade, All Things Musical in downtown Redwood City with a variety of activities for families. Make whirlgigs and parachutes to fly and American flags to wave. Take a break from the heat and try some vanilla ice cream you can hand-churn for yourself!

Have done this for 10 years and its a wonderful afternoon spent. The area is enclosed and safe for toddlers, and GREAT for school age kids. There are several adults in costume to help guide kids through the many Rancho activites and Crafts, most who have been doing this for years. The spirit and fun is great at this precious little jewel of a site, both historically and geographically. A great afternoon 12-4! Collapse
