    Brought to you by the City of Palo Alto's Arts and Sciences Division and the Palo Alto Weekly with generous support from the City of Palo Alto Utilities Department and the “Palo Alto Green” program, we proudly present Palo Alto's Twilight Concert Series for Summer 2009! These great concerts will be staged in various parks throughout the city, and offer the perfect outing for a summertime evening Special thanks to our in-kind sponsor, Piazza’s Fine Foods.

    August 4: Lydia Pense and Cold Blood (Legendary Rhythm and Blues) - With Lydia Pense out front bawling the blues, Cold Blood has been one of the most dynamic live bands on the music scene since the 70s. Pense can take you to church and plunk you into a roadhouse in the same song. Just listen to I Wish I Knew How It Would Feel To Be Free if you need proof.
