Presenting the 2009-10 Evening of Cultural Arts Series, the nineteenth season of eclectic arts offerings at the intimate Sunnyvale Theatre. This year's theme celebrates "world talent in a neighborhood venue." With eight musically diverse programs, the upcoming season promises to deliver colorful cultures with genres including traditional American folk, Brazilian, Celtic, Tahitian, Chinese music and more.

Lil’ Rev - Purveyor of Good-Time Music:  Old-time traveling entertainer Lil’ Rev makes his first-ever Sunnyvale stop with an assortment of traditional folk instruments, songs and stories. This national champion harmonica player, ukulele wizard, and storyteller extraordinaire has earned a reputation for captivating audiences of all ages. But he’s so much more than a showman. This self-described “protector of old songs, poems and stories” has amassed a diverse repertoire that includes Tin Pan Alley standards, American folk tunes, Yiddish and Jewish songs and stories, labor anthems and quilting songs. Lil Rev teaches music history at the University of Wisconsin and teaches harmonica and ukulele workshops internationally.
