Set in 1944 Italy, this film tells the story of four black American soldiers who were members of the 92nd Buffalo Soldier Division stationed in Tuscany during WWII. They experience the tragedy and triumph of the war as they find themselves trapped behind enemy lines while risking their lives to save an Italian boy. Sponsored by the Downtown San Mateo Association, HSBC Bank, Astaria Restaurant and Bar, Whole Foods Market, The Daily Journal, and A Total Office Service. Additional support provided by the Asian Library Advisory and African American Library Advisory Committees.
