    On adjacent patios in a honeymoon hotel, Elyot and Amanda meet by chance after marrying their new spouses. The still smoldering embers of their tempestuous marriage spark flames as banter flies and hilarity ensues. New partners are abandoned, couples re-unite and tempers spiral out of control. Noel Coward’s sophisticated romance shocked audiences in 1930 but this classic battle of the sexes remains a favorite comedy of bad manners.
