The Producers is a musical adapted by Mel Brooks and Thomas Meehan from Brooks' 1968 film of the same name, with lyrics by Brooks and music by Brooks and Glen Kelly. The story line is a comedy classic: a crooked producer and his anxiety ridden accountant cook up a scheme to present a massive train wreck of a theatrical fiasco and pocket their investors money before the curtain falls. The comedy builds to hilarious levels when the worst play ever written, Springtime for Hitler, is an unexpected smash hit.

    I LOVED it! And not just because my little sis is in it! This is not your local small town theater folks. This is a class act all the way. The actors were funny, charming, kept the flow going and had me rolling with laughter. The singing and dancing was tops. The stage setting was great as was the seating. All seats had super views. My only critique would be that the woman's restroom ran out of paper towels before the intermission ended. Other then that, go see it tomorrow because it's your last chance! Collapse
