KEITH THOMPSON, having begun piano at the age of four and organ at the age of seven, graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree (Cum Laude) from Pacific Lutheran University, Tacoma, Washington, and two Masters of Music degrees (Magna Cum Laude) from Southern Methodist University. He pursued his Doctorate of Musical Arts degree in Organ/Harpsichord Performance and Conducting while a Teaching Fellow at North Texas State University. While a Lecturer in Music at San Jose State University, he also produced "World of the Organ" which aired for four years and was one of the top rated programs on KCSM-FM (an APR/NPR station) in San Mateo, California.
